Clamps onto the rail with two set screws instead of being bolted or welded, so it can be fitted to a trailer that has no winch mounts and moved to another one later. Once it is set, it is fixed — it does not slide along the rail the way a track-mounted winch does. Standard or low profile body, 5,500 lb working load limit on both.
Check the set screws every time you load. A clamped winch is only as good as its grip on the rail, and the rail is the anchor point your whole tiedown rating depends on.

Which winch?
All four carry the same 5,500 lb working load limit and take the same winch straps and the same winch bar. What separates them is how much strap they will take up and how they mount.

A sliding winch only slides in Kinedyne winch track, and only the 3820 and 5820 sliding bodies fit it. Everything else bolts or welds to the trailer.
