Mounts under the deck rather than on the rail, so nothing stands proud of the trailer edge to catch a dock, a forklift or the next trailer over. Fixed mount only, 5,500 lb working load limit.
The trade is capacity: the shallow body takes up 14 feet of 4 inch strap where the standard takes 24. Fine for shorter runs across a narrow deck, not enough for a wide load.

Which winch?
All four carry the same 5,500 lb working load limit and take the same winch straps and the same winch bar. What separates them is how much strap they will take up and how they mount.

A sliding winch only slides in Kinedyne winch track, and only the 3820 and 5820 sliding bodies fit it. Everything else bolts or welds to the trailer.
