Where a single-part hoist rope has to lift a free load, or wherever rotation-resistant properties are essential to how the rope performs, the 19×7 is the standard answer.
Its rotation resistance comes from the way it is laid: six strands around a core strand in one direction, then twelve strands over that first operation in the opposite direction. When the rope is in tension, opposing rotational forces are created between the inner and outer layers, and they cancel.
An 8×19 has more crushing resistance and a higher minimum breaking force, and the compacted 19×19 has more of both again — but for a single part lifting free, this is the construction to reach for.
