Rigging Hardware
A swivel hook lets the load turn without winding up the sling. Note which kind you need: a plain swivel is for positioning an unloaded hook, while a bearing swivel turns under load.
The L-322AN is the plain swivel — it positions the hook before the lift and must not be rotated under load.
Features
- Forged, Quenched & Tempered.
- Suitable for positioning of the hook before the load is lifted.

- Proper design, careful forging, and precision controlled quench and tempering gives maximum strength without excessive weight and bulk.
- Low profile hook tip designed to utilize the Crosby S‑4320 or PL‑N latch kit.
- Hooks incorporate QUIC‑CHECK® deformation and angle indicators.

All carbon swivel hooks have a 5:1 design factor and proof load is 2 times the Working Load Limit. Alloy swivel hooks 1t through 22t have a 4.5:1 design factor and proof load is 2.5 times the Working Load Limit. Alloy swivel hooks of 30t capacity have a 4:1 design factor and proof load is 2 times the Working Load Limit.
